Solo traveler’s mixed experience

The room was spacious and clean, definitely appreciate that! The front desk staff was attentive, they even helped me promptly when the fridge wasn't working well.

It wasn't exactly cheap though, still acceptable.

The pool was a clean beautiful blue.

This hotel offers a comfy stay with excellent cleanliness and wonderful staff. The breakfast was a highlight, with delicious options every morning. The pool looked inviting, though a bit cloudy. While the mattress felt springy, the experience overall was quite enjoyable, making it worth considering for your next visit.

I really enjoyed the proximity to Saint Mary's State Park, which is just a short 3.5 km away, making it perfect for a relaxing day out in nature and just a little over 5 km to Calvert Marine Museum where I could immerse myself in local history and culture. the breakfast options were delightful, but some more fresh fruit would enhance the experience.

the fire alarm went off and i called 911 because the desk clerk wouldn't help. but the pool was fun for the kids, plenty of parking available , and the breakfast was fresh daily, which i liked.

Great check-in, sketchy staff

Checking in was super easy and the front desk lady was really nice, but the next staff person was just rude! I mean, come on, you're in customer service! Also, the free breakfast was decent, but it could have used more options. Just felt let down by the attitude from the staff after such a good start.

Late check-ins can turn into a hassle. the policy on no-shows feels rigid, determining your fate based on timing rather than circumstance. The handicap room setup leaves much to be desired, as tight spacing makes getting in and out of bed quite the feat, especially for two individuals needing assistance. Plus, the breakfast omelet could use a bit more finesse—unmelted cheese is a letdown.
